Terms of Service

Effective April 7, 2026

Welcome to LR Seamsters, a two-sided marketplace operated by LR Threads LLC ("we", "us", "our") that connects boutiques, designers, and fashion brands ("Boutiques") with independent seamstresses and tailors ("Seamstresses"). By creating an account or using the LR Seamsters app you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use LR Seamsters. By signing up you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Accounts and Roles

LR Seamsters supports two account roles: Boutique and Seamstress. You may only hold one active role per account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lrthreads.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Marketplace

LR Seamsters is a venue. Boutiques post jobs, Seamstresses accept them, and the two parties contract directly with each other to complete the work. LR Threads LLC is not a party to the agreement between a Boutique and a Seamstress and is not an employer, contractor, or agent of either.

4. Platform Fee and Payments

LR Seamsters charges a platform service fee of 18% of each completed transaction. Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Funds for a job are held until the Boutique marks the job complete or the dispute process concludes, at which point the Seamstress's portion is released to their connected Stripe account less the platform fee. You authorize us to collect and remit the platform fee on your behalf.

5. Seamstress Obligations

Seamstresses agree to complete accepted jobs to the specifications agreed with the Boutique, communicate delays promptly, use clean and safe working conditions, and honor pricing and turnaround quoted within the app. Work must be your own; sub-contracting is not permitted without the Boutique's written consent.

6. Boutique Obligations

Boutiques agree to provide accurate job briefs, measurements, reference photos, and materials when applicable; respond to Seamstress messages within a reasonable time; and pay agreed amounts on time. Abusive communication, scope creep without additional compensation, or withholding payment for completed work in good faith is a violation of these Terms.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: (a) use LR Seamsters for any unlawful purpose; (b) harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user; (c) share personal contact information to circumvent platform fees; (d) post counterfeit, infringing, or unsafe items; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service; or (f) create multiple accounts to evade enforcement.

8. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and other content you submit. By submitting content you grant LR Threads LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to operate and promote LR Seamsters. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license.

9. Disputes Between Users

If a dispute arises over a job, either party may open a dispute in-app. LR Threads LLC may review the conversation, photos, and job history and make a good-faith determination about the release of held funds. LR Threads LLC's determination is not legal arbitration and does not waive either party's legal rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for conduct that harms other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time from the Settings screen.

11. Disclaimers

LR Seamsters is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work performed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions. Use of the service is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LR Threads LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to LR Seamsters is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees you paid to us in the six months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars (USD $100).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved in-app will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of LR Seamsters after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
